Inspection, testing and maintenance of Fire Detection and Warning system is core business strength of RFD along with other facets of Fire Service. We have a wide range of coverage starting from simple manual type system through to large automated commercial and industrial solutions. In general terms, this whole system consist of detection devices such as smoke detector, heat detector and other types of detectors, plus audible alarm devices such as Bells Horns and Speakers in the case of voice communication system.

Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus (VESDA) are aspirating smoke detection system used in the area where early response to fire is very critical. This system works by continually drawing air into the pipe networks (sampling points) via a high efficiency aspirator. VESDA by itself is a detector which is connected to a Fire Indicator Panel. RFD has technicians trained on this system and is capable to designing, installing commissioning and maintaining the system in an ongoing basis.
