Survitec Australia Relocates to Purpose Built New Facility

Survitec Group Australia has completed their relocation to a new purpose built facility at Wetherill Park. The new premises provide Survitec Australia with modern administration, warehousing, service and manufacturing facilities all on the one site.

Survitec Group Australia is national leader in the supply and service of critical safety solutions and operates in key sectors, including Maritime, Defence, Oil & Gas, Mining and Fire.

Survitec Australia had been based at its Auburn facility for over 15 years and operated from four separate buildings, all acquired as the business grew and space became available.

“We have simply outgrown our Auburn premises” said Craig Johnson, Managing Director of Survitec Australia.

“Auburn served us well for a long time. However, as the Survitec business evolved with additional product lines, an increase and development of critical service support functions it was clear that our physical resources were stretched beyond their limits at Auburn. It was time to pack up and shift out.”

“Our facility at Wetherill Park is new from the concrete slab up and purpose built for our specific needs. Already we are seeing greater efficiencies and improved productivity which will benefit our service to our customers.”

The new Survitec Group Australia property at Wetherill Park is a six star green rated building providing 5807 M² of warehouse, manufacturing and office space, located alongside the Westlink M7 freeway and nearby the Western Motorway M4. Access to the Sydney CBD, Sydney airport and Port of Botany is exceptional.

Under the 13.5m high roof of the building is an extensive racking system for warehousing, purpose built work cells for engineering, marine liferaft and lifejacket servicing, CNG cylinder servicing, high pressure gas equipment servicing, breathing apparatus for the mining sector and fire service equipment, all housed under the one roof.

“Our relocation to Wetherill Park is good for us at Survitec Australia and even better for our customers,” Craig Johnson said.

“We are well positioned to provide enhanced, more responsive customer service. There are great times ahead for Survitec and our customers.”

Survitec Group in Australia (RFD Australia Pty Ltd) is primarily involved in the supply, service and project management of marine, fire, life support and high pressure gas equipment to Government Departments and major corporations in the region. In the marine segment Survitec Group services recreational boating as well as the defence, shipping, cruise and aviation industries..
